| Welcome to Passport Newfoundlands!!!
Well, I have been showing Newfs for a looooong time. After marrying my wife, I wrangled her in to the madness as well. Together we have conditioned and shown some wonderful dogs owned by equally wonderful people. As the years have progressed we realizedthat a love and admiration for this breed has blossomed at Passport. Over the years we have learned the pedigrees, styles, and temperaments of various breeder's lines. This led us to start out with sound, intelligent, typey dogs from amazing bloodlines and great breeders.
Our first Newf is a daughter of the Multiple Group Winning Ch. Halcyon-Cofino's Queen Isabela. We have been specialing Isabela during the beginning of the '08 show year, but decided to breed her half way through after multiple Group Firsts. Owned by Lourdes Cofino (Cofino Newfoundlands), Isabela's litter was a collaboration between us and Lourdes to find the best stud dog and have the quality litter we knew Isabela could produce. This was a success and Cofino Passport Princess Fiona came to live with us. She is lightening in a bottle! Highly intelligent, EXTREMELY energetic, and absolutely gorgeous, Know our love for Isabela and how much we will miss her when she retires, Fiona is exactly what we needed. She will fill the void of her mother when the time comes. She isBLACKAND BEAUTIFUL!! We are grateful to Lourdes for helping us get started and for knowing that the love we have for Isabela will be overflowing to Fiona!
Then came a time of brain storming. We threw ideas around with another client/friend, Michelle Gordon (Bydand Newfoundlands) and decided to join her in the quest of producing awesome BROWNNewfs! Yes,BROWNIS BEAUTIFUL!! LOL We have leased Bydand's Knowing A Rosie Future. She is sired by Ch. Knowing What I Want Von Reisrand, a GORGEOUS, Brown, German import dog we finished for Michelle. Her dam is Bydand Princess Tiger Lily (needs a major to finish) whom we also showed for Michelle. Rosie is the foundation for what will be a successful breeding program of OUTSTANDING BROWNS.We are grateful to Michelle for sharing her hard earned, qualityBROWNline to get us started!
